Quarantine boxes available to seniors
ALPENA, Mich.— Senior residents in need of food as a result of the pandemic now have access to available resources. If you are 60 or older and in need of food you may be eligible for a quarantine box.
The Michigan Aging and Adult Services Agency has teamed up with the Food Bank Council of Michigan to provide quarantine boxes. Each box contains 33 shelf stable food items which equates to 22 meals.
Supply is limited and seniors are asked to complete a survey at www.nemcsa.org
