Pets of the Week: 8-4-2020

ALPENA, Mich.– This is Cypress. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, and that’s made her really shy around people. She prefers to keep to herself around humans and other cats, and will need time to warm up to you. When she’s with someone familiar, she’s quite affectionate. I recommend talking to the H.H.S. volunteers about having multiple one–on–one sessions with Cypress to help you get to know each other.

Next, meet Maple. she’s three months old and has been at the shelter for just over a week. She’s full of energy and loves to run. However, she’s still learning how to be around others, as well as who she wants to be.

Finally, we have Blondie. He prefers lounging around to running around. he’s also a cuddler who loves catnip. Blondie is looking for a calm, relaxing environment to call home.
