ORV Accident
A serious crash involving an Off Road Vehicle occurred over the weekend in Presque Isle County.
The incident happened on Saturday, May 27th when, the Presque Isle County Sheriff’s Department was called out to an ORV crash in Presque Isle Township.
Officials report that a side by side being operated by 25 year old Tyler Steven Elowsky overturned, ejecting himself and his mother, Julie, from the machine. Neither of them wore a helmet. They were transported to MidMichigan Medical Center– Alpena.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor, and the case remains under investigation.
