New Mural Coming to VFW in Alpena
There’s been a positive response to the latest mural in downtown Alpena, but another is in the making at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building.
The mural is designed by Chad Szatkowski who was born deaf and who’s father Joseph has been a longtime member of the VFW. It will depict an eagle in front of the American flag on the front of the building.
Chad has been doing art since he was a kid and is always looking for new projects. He’s also an experienced tattoo artist. He said he’s proud to be doing this one in particular because of his dad’s service and he’s doing it for all other veterans as well.
Chad expects to finish his mural by Friday.
