More Sunshine For Saturday But Still Windy

Alpena MI – Rain and wind was the main story for the entire day so far; winds will be a factor for tonight into tomorrow as well. Rain will be ending later on tonight but returning later on Saturday. Tonight rain showers will be ending but still windy with overnight lows in the middle 30s. Winds will be out of the west northwest at 20-30 mph with gusts to 45 mph. Powerlines and trees could be brought down with these wind gusts along with power outages. Tomorrow will be partly sunny still windy but showers will return in the overnight hours with daytime highs in the lower 60s. Winds will be west northwest at 20-30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. Temperatures will warm up starting next week with highs back into to 60s but rain chances will be in the forecast for a good chunk of next week.
