More Art Unveiled in Downtown Alpena
More art is going up in downtown Alpena.
As part of the downtown development authority’s Fresh Waves Initiative, Owner of the Lovely Little Lettering Company Mariah Brancheau is painting right next to the Besser mural created last month.
Titled “You Are Art”, the piece hopes to spread the message that everyone has value. “I really wanted to show that using lots of bright colors and flowers, because there’s so much beauty around us and each person has such a beautiful value to them individually,” said Brancheau. “I just kind of wanted to share a little of that through this art piece.”
This newest painting can be found near Hopside Brewery.
