Mid Michigan cancer patients receive funding
Over 200 fisherman participated in the 13th annual Scotty G. Fishing Tournament where proceeds will go toward cancer patients at MidMichigan Medical Center.
Founder of the Susan Wish Fund, Ron Brady, presented MidMichigan’s Director of Development, Ann Diamond, with a check of over four thousand dollars. The monies will go toward the Susan Wish Fund and will assist cancer patients with various needs.
Diamond said the fund was named after a good friend of Brady’s which is why he continues to help cancer patients.
Diamond also added that it is heartwarming to know that there are people in the community who will come out and support an event like this.
