“Michigan Divided” Explores Political Divide in Mitten State

Living in Michigan means a lot of things… you can experience the big city or a small town, hot or cold weather (all in one day) and you can find democrats or republicans. There seems to be a large political divide within “The Mitten State” and across the country. To dive deeper into this issue The Alpena Area Chamber of commerce and The Center for Michigan’s Bridge Magazine are hosting a free public screening of the newly released documentary called Michigan Divided. This documentary explores the political divide in Michigan. It follows six families across all different walks of life. The screening will take place on June 19th at 5:30pm  at Alpena Community College in the Granum Theatre.
