Judge Rules Srebnik to be Bound Over to Circuit Court, Expected to Make Decision on Wirgau on Friday

Joshua Wirgau and Brad Srebnik, the two men accused of killing Brynn Bills and Abby hill appeared in court Thursday for the fourth day of their preliminary exam.

The prosecution submitted evidence to Judge Alan Curtis of the 88th district court including pictures of multiple firearms found by Michigan State Police on the property of Srebnik’s parents. Also submitted were pictures of pieces of a firearm found in the Thunder Bay River.

Judge Curtis later found that there was enough evidence showing reasonable suspicion that Srebnik killed both women. He’ll be bound over to the 26th circuit court where it will be determined if he will go to trial.

Preliminary examination will continue on Friday and it’s expected Judge Curtis will make a decision on whether or not Wirgau will be bound over to the circuit court as well.
