Jingle bell crawl in downtown Alpena
ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Downtown Development Authority is hosting their first jingle bell crawl with merchants this weekend. The crawl is meant to be a day of shopping with participating merchants offering special deals, sales and giveaways to encourage holiday gift shopping.
DDA’s Marketing and Outreach Coordinator, Kingsli Kraft, encourages the community to come out and shop and shares why shopping locally is important.
The DDA and merchants are doing everything they can to make sure shopping downtown is safe this holiday season. Downtown shops are still hosting Facebook live shopping events, curbside pick–up, online shopping and other easy purchasing options.
