Jade Schultz Breaks Alpena CC Scoring Record
ALPENA, MI- Needing 21 points to become the all time leading scorer at Alpena Community College, Jade Schultz left little room for doubt.
It took less than a half for Schultz to hit the milestone number of 1,025 points. The record breaking layup came with about a minute left in the second quarter as Schultz took a pass from Allie DeRocher and scored. Schultz finished the night with 32 points and finishes her career as a Lumberjack with 1,036 points.
The record was previously held by Karina Cole. Cole scored 1,024 points during her time as a Lumberjack. Schultz and Cole are the only two players in program history to score over 1,000 points.
ACC fell in the season finale to Delta 60-53.
