Insights Preview: A look at the emotional support services available for Alpena’s first responders

ALPENA, Mich. — Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the critical work of first responders has received much attention.  Also being brought to light are the important support services that are needed to protect the emotional well-being of our front-line workers.  In this Sunday’s Insights, WBKB Reporter Sheri Stuart interviews Deputy Chief Training Officer Rob Edmonds who discusses the Alpena Fire Department’s approach to survival training as well as managing stress on the job.
