Glik’s moves to Downtown Alpena

ALPENA, Mich. – One Alpena store reopened it’s doors in a new location as National Small Business Week comes to a close.

Glik’s cut the ribbon to its new location in Downtown Alpena at Harborside Center.

There is only one location in Alpena. The stores president and CEO said the move only solidifies their goal to serve Alpena.

“Alpena is a really special place, said Glik’s President and CEO Jeff Glik. “20 years ago when we opened our first store here, the head of the chamber of commerce said it’s very important that your store is here, we want there to be fashion in Alpena.”

Glick’s Stores have been in business for 124 years. Many people were in attendance at the opening looking for Mother’s Day gifts.
