Cold Start To Spring
Alpena MI – Today we saw lake effect snow showers in the area, temperatures were in the lower 40s for highs but with the winds it felt like it was in the 20s and 30s today. Going into later this week it will continue to be colder. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a few snow showers in the area with lows in the 20s. Winds will West Northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Tomorrow will be windy with a couple snow showers in the area, colder, highs will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s with winds West Northwest at 15-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph. Temperatures will continue to be below normal for this week and this weekend with snow chances in the forecast. Spring arrives at 11:07 P.M. EDT but it will continue to feel like winter.
