Changes in store for Rogers City transfer station
ROGERS CITY, Mich. — Rogers City residents can expect some changes to their recycling habits.
During Tuesday night’s meeting, the Rogers City City Council voted unanimously to plan a meeting with Presque Isle County. The county recently decided to relocate the recycling bins from the rogers city transfer station to other buildings in the area. The council hopes to reach a solution that can improve the situation.
The council also voted in favor of locking the gates to the transfer station at night to prevent people from stealthily dropping off non-recyclable trash.
