Car Crashes into Credit Union

There was a messy scene today at the Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union after an 83-year-old woman crashed into the building.

Around 11:45 this morning Michigan State Police and Alpena Township Fire were dispatched to the credit union located on Bagley Street.

Officials removed the driver from the vehicle and questioned her about what happened. It was found that the driver thought her car was in reverse but  she was infact in drive. The driver denied medical attention but there were two employees that sustained minor injuries and were taken to Mid-Michigan Medical Center Alpena.

Right now the investigation is still on going, while the credit union remains open.
