Au Gres-Sims Wolverines Bite Atlanta Huskies
ATLANTA, MI – The Au Gres-Sims Wolverines were on the road to take on the Atlanta Huskies in their season opener.
The Wolverines had good movement down the field and were in scoring position only a few minutes into the game. Au Gres-Sims got on the board and completed the two-point conversion with 9:24 on the clock.
Although the Huskies made strides on the field, they were unable to get on the board. The Huskies and Wolverines went into halftime with a score of 16-0.
Eventually, the Huskies got multiple scores as the game went on, but the Wolverines took the game with a final score of 44-18.
Au Gres-Sims head to Rogers City to face off against the Hurons on September 2 at 7 p.m. Atlanta goes up against the Mio Thunderbolts on September 1 at 7 p.m.
