APS reminds students and parents of early college pre-enrollment deadline

Alpena Public Schools is reminding students and parents that early college pre–enrollment is right around the corner.

The Alpena Early College program offers students the opportunity to earn up to 60 college credits with free books and tuition, as well as chances for mentoring. Early college students also boast higher college completion rates.

A pre–enrollment meeting will be held for tenth grade students on February 21 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Alpena high school auditorium. Applications are due March 15.
