Alpena Police respond to home invasion robbery
Alpena, Mich. — Alpena Police responded to a home invasion robbery in the 200 block of S. Fifth Avenue. The incident occurred on Friday, April 10 at approximately 10:45 p.m.
According to the victim, several subjects armed with handguns, knives and a baseball bat entered the home and demanded marijuana and other property.
Lt. Eric Hamp told WBKB that the victim knew the suspects who have since been arrested and identified as a 32–year–old male from Bay City and a 19–year–old female from Alpena.
Four male juvenile suspects were also arrested. Alpena police said thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.
Lt. Hamp says this incident is a reminder that you should always secure your belongings and lock your doors.
