Alpena Operation Holidays Still Needs Toys
The Alpena Operation Holidays put on by the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 583 is still looking for toy donations for the holidays.
They are looking for toys for kids from newborns all the way up to 17 years old. They are looking for items like coloring books, crayons, craft items, games, and more.
They are asking for small gifts of $5-$10, medium gifts of $11-$19, and large gifts of up to $20. They will also take unused wrapping paper so they can wrap gifts.
Operation Holidays is still looking to wrap toys for 600 kids and still needs several gifts, hoping to have them wrapped by Saturday so they can be delivered.
Anyone interested in donating toys to operation holidays can bring them to the building in the Thunder Bay Plaza next to the old Niemann’s building from 8am to 8pm throughout the week.
