Alcona County Library Hosts Family Fun Day

The Alcona County Library in Harrisville had a family game day today.  Families from all over the county came out to participate. The games were a great way for kids to interact with one another and also a great time.

The event was held so children could get together and find new ways to enjoy the local Library. What the kids and families received out of the event are, social interaction with peers, new friends and family time.

The Alcona County Library is finding creative ways to reach the kids and engage them in reading. Other events are also coming to the library this month. Some even award kids with free bikes! The day was filled with learning and excitement and ended with children having a new love for their local Library.
