Bridget Hollinshead and Lauren Mantlo worked through the night to hit all of the restaurants and bars they could. “It’s been a lotta fun,” Hollinshead said. “Yeah drinks and the food’s been good,” Mantlo added.

Hollinshead and Mantlo stopped at The Courtyard first, Joe’s Bar second, Red Brick next, and then Nowicki’s with plans to hit Latitudes Tavern and Players Pub later.

The back to the 80’s theme was in effect and the Co-Owner of HopSide Brewery, Tyler Greenway, didn’t hold back on his costume. It’s their first year as one of the locations. “We are just celebrating our one-year anniversary,” said Greenway. “So we’re kind a new to the whole scene, but normally we’re participating in it. Now we’re on the other side of the aisle now, and we’re getting to partake in the festivities.”

The Alpenopoly Grub Crawl has a positive effect on the community, giving people a reason to get out while also supporting local businesses.
