Vehicle accident leads to family trapped inside

ALPENA, Mich.— The Michigan State Police and other first responders were called to a two vehicle accident at the corner of Second Avenue and Miller Street this afternoon. A four door black sedan struck a mini van causing the mini van to rollover.

According to Alpena Fire Chief Bill Forbush, this resulted in a woman and two children being trapped inside the mini van. First responders were able to rescue the family and both vehicles were left with significant damage.

Police say no one was hurt in the crash.
