MDOT hosting virtual job fair this evening

ALPENA, Mich. — The Michigan Department of Transportation is partnering with the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity to host a virtual career fair this evening.  MDOT is looking to hire workers for seasonal and permanent positions throughout the state.

According to MDOT Communication Representative, James Lake, they are looking for trained engineers and interested people who have a Michigan Class B CDL license.  Lake added they have a variety of positions needing to be filled and while some of the positions require a degree and/or experience, MDOT provides training beyond minimum requirements.

The career fair will begin this evening at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8.
