Secretary Benson responds to this weekend’s protestors

DETROIT, Mich. — “Our democracy is safe, and it will prevail.”

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson responded to the demonstration outside of her home Saturday, Dec. 4 by saying that she would not be intimidated. She confirmed that both her and her family were safe, and called for any and all evidence of election fraud to be reported to her and Attorney General Dana Nessel.

In related election news, Attorney General Nessel called a lawsuit from the Attorney General of Texas a “publicity stunt.” The Michigan State Senate Oversight Committee held a meeting today to investigate operations across the state and certify a winner of the presidential election.
