Rogers City is Ready for Michigan Main Street presentation

ROGERS CITY, Mich. – Rogers City has revealed its pitch presentation for Michigan Main Street.

Mayor Scott McLennan posted the completed video on social media.

The Michigan Main Street Program assists communities in revitalizing and preserving their traditional commercial districts.

Mayor Scott said the program will greatly benefit Rogers City.

“The Main Street Program provides businesses with the opportunity to have access to professionals who will help their business,” said Scott. “And most importantly it is about pulling the community together; it’s networking and building a stronger community.”

Scott said he is excited for the presentation to the program’s selection committee. He said he’s ready to show why rogers city is so special.

“I think in terms of rogers city, the reality is, is that our community really came together, strongly supporting this program, said Scott. “It was a strong grassroots effort.”

Mayor Scott, along with city DDA members, will present their pitch to the committee this Wednesday.
