Land up for grabs in online land auction
ALPENA, Mich.— Bids will be accepted this week in the Alpena County Public Land Auction. The event will be held online this year and includes Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency and Presque Isle counties.
In Alpena, 16 properties are up for auction. Those properties include foreclosed homes and local land plots. In person bidding is not allowed and buyers are required to pay in full within five business days after auction day.
Online bidding will begin today from 10am to 7pm. The online auction can be found at www.tax-sale.info
