Residents are welcome to participate in Steam Adventure

ALPENA, Mich.— The Alpena County Library wants to take you on an adventure with their latest hands on activity. There is no cost to participate in the Steam Adventure and it’s open to all ages.

Participates will begin the game at the downtown Alpena store Parallel 45 Books and Gifts. Players will be guided to multiple downtown businesses where each person is required to complete a series of challenges.

Each game station is related to science, math and art learning. The object of the game is to not only find a missing grandfather and his magical sword, but to also learn new information in the process.

Participates are asked to wear a mask upon entering businesses. The game will begin Thursday, October 1 and will run until November 1.
