ALPENA, Mich. __ Merry Christmas! The holiday season brings a host of opportunities to gather with friends and family. Earlier this week I caught up with the Red Brick Tap and Barrel’s co-owner Brooke, to show you how to craft a festive holiday drink.
4 ounces vanilla vodka,
2 ounce kaluha,
1 ounce oatmeal cookie creamer
Oatmeal cookie pies
Fill a cocktail share with ice
Add vanilla vodka, kahlua and oatmeal cookie creamer to the shaker.
Shake mixture vigorously.
Top drink with cinnamon, don’t be shy, this is what gives the drink that warm holiday flavor.
Split 1 oatmeal cookie pie in half. Take half of the pie and make a slit that will allow you to place the half cookie on the rim of the glass as a garnish.
Now its time for you to sit back and enjoy. Tis the season!
