Get ready to laugh, because the popular musical comedy, church basement ladies a second helping is back and with a twist this time around.
It’s been 3 years since your favorite church ladies have been on stage. The play will be held at the Alpena Civic Theater this upcoming week and the following week.
The same great cast will be featured, but there will be a huge surprise. If you and your family are looking for something to do this week make plans to go see this play.
Co–director, Doreen Kriniak said everyone involved has been working hard to make sure the play comes alive for the audience.
“Alpena Civic Theater is an all volunteer theater. So everyone here that’s on stage has a job. All day long they work, and then they come here and rehearse and practice all night and then when we hit the stage opening night, we’re all stars,” she said with excitement.
Church basement ladies, a second helping starts Thursday, October 20th through the 23rd. The play then comes back for a second week on October 27th through the 30th.
