Alpena Public Schools to remain remote after Christmas break

ALPENA, Mich. – Alpena Public School’s announced Wednesday that they will return to in–person and hybrid learning for some students on January 11th.

The district made the announcement on their Facebook page and website early Wednesday. Students will return to remote learning for the week of January 4th through the 8th.

Remote learning schedules will remain the same as they were prior to Christmas break. On January 11th, students will return to in-person and hybrid learning.

K–through–5th students will be in person for a full day five days a week with the same daily schedule and protocols as the fall. Students in grades 6 through 12 will return to their

same hybrid schedules– with some students attending Mondays and Thursdays, and others in schools on Tuesdays and Fridays.
