Pets of the week: 2-2-21

ALPENA, Mich.– Today’s pets of the week are Whit, Bobsled, Igloo, and Wolverine.

Meet whit. He’s a four–year–old terrier rescue from Texas. Whit’s an incredibly energetic dog who doesn’t let snow get in the way of a good time. He’s very affectionate, but would prefer to be the only pet in the house.

Next, let’s check in on Bobsled. When we first saw him last week, he needed a lot of coaxing to come out of his hidey–hole. I’m happy to say he’s much more confident this week. He’s very receptive to petting, and his fluffy coat is a delight. Bobsled is two years old.

Now let’s meet today’s second survivor: Igloo. Igloo is a former stray who suffered from an inverted eyelid. Thankfully, his sight has been restored after a successful surgery. Igloo’s well on the mend, though not fond of his cone. He enjoys lounging around and being pet.

Finally, say hello to Wolverine. Unlike his namesake, this fella is actually quite timid. However, it only takes is a few minutes of petting to draw him out in the open. Wolverine wants nothing more than to cuddle with you all day long.
