WBKB Gets A Special Visit!

WBKB had a very special guest from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters visit the station today. Denise Weston is the Director of Membership and Services at MAB. She was here in Alpena today to check out our local station, and even drop off some much appreciated gifts.

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters is a non-profit organization that represents commercial radio and television broadcast stations here in Michigan.

“Alpena is one of our smaller markets but you guys still reach out to the community and you do so many things for them,” said Weston. She also brought a special guest of her own as she toured the station.

Denise was honored to stop by, but we here at WBKB were even more honored to have her.

“I’m very honored to be here and you guys are amazing members at the MAB, you do so much for the organization and you participate in so many things,” said Weston.
