Volunteers Working at Senior Center & Alpena Library to Help During Tax Season
Tax season is finally here. Local volunteers are stepping in to make sure filing your taxes is a breeze.
The AARP tax program is offering a helping hand to those who are seniors and those who qualify as low income. Working as volunteers there will be enough representatives to make sure no one who comes to file their taxes gets taken advantage of. There are 7 locations in the district of Northeast Michigan.
There are over 30 volunteers in our Great Lakes Region. Appointments can be made by contacting the Alpena Library, at 989–464–0982, or the Alpena Seniors Center at 989–356–3585.
