United Way of Northeast Michigan Welcomes New Director: Sonya Thomas
The United Way has a new face in office; Sonya Thomas was inducted into her new role as the United Way of Northeast Michigan Executive Director, Tuesday night.
Taking over for former director, Germaine Stoppa’s position, Thomas said she’s excited about calling Northeast Michigan her new home while connecting with the community.
Besides work, Thomas said she’s looking forward to enjoying the outdoors and other activities Northeast Michigan has to offer. So if you see Thomas out in the community make sure to give her a warm welcome.
