Thank a teacher for Teachers Appreciation Week
ALPENA, Mich. – Teachers in the area and across the country are being recognized this week for their hard work.
It’s teachers appreciation week. Its vital more than ever to honor them as educators have been working in a stressful pandemic.
Alpena Public Schools Superintendent David Rabbideau said the pandemic has shown him just how resourceful his teachers are.
“I can’t save enough about our teachers. They’ve been remarkable this year, coming into the Alpena area to the school district, I hear that message immediately of how dedicated our teachers were and I saw it for myself.”
Schools in the area are celebrating with themes and special activities all week long.
Even national food chains and organizations are offering teachers incentives to show their appreciation.
