Rogers City council meeting recap
ALPENA, Mich. –Earlier this week Rogers City held their city council meeting which included a millage request from the Presque Isle County
Historical Museum.
In addition, a public hearing was held to consider changing elections from odd years to even.
Council voted to change the next election to November 2022 resulting in the mayor and council members serving an additional one year.
The Director of the Presque Isle County Historical Museum requested to consider allowing the great lakes and the historical museum a millage
request for one half million.
According to City Manager, Joe Hefele, the council did take action to support the request.
However, council did not take any action on a proposed amendment to the dog leashing ordinance.
