Residents are encouraged to complete survey

ALPENA, Mich.— The City of Alpena is updating their recreation plan and needs your help in doing so. The plan is updated every five years for all recreational facilities in the city.

The plan then gets approved by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and entails input from the community. Residents are encouraged to complete an online survey on how the city can improve local parks.

The survey takes approximately five to ten minutes and can be found on the city’s website. Those without internet access can fill out a printed copy at city hall.
