Rep. Sue Allor pays it forward to help students in need
ALPENA, Mich. – Teachers and government officials are doing what they can to insure students have what the need to be successful this year, and for some that means carrying an essential item to school.
Representative Sue Allor (R-Mich.) paid it forward this morning to help give out backpacks to local school kids in need.
The government figure made stops to Richardson Elementary in Oscoda and Whittemore–Prescott Elementary in Whittemore.
Children in two classrooms participated in the free giveaways.
