Phi Theta Kappa To host a community blood drive
ALPENA, Mich.— Blood centers across the country are in need of blood donations and Phi Theta Kappa of Alpena Community College is stepping up to help out. The college organization will be hosting a blood drive Monday, October 19th at the Ramada Hotel.
The event will begin at 11am and end at 5pm. Attendees are required to wear a mask upon entering the building and making an appointment ahead of the event is recommended.
Attendees are reminded to eat a healthy meal with plenty of water before donating. All blood donations will be tested for COVID–19 antibodies.
If you are sick or suspect you may have COVID–19 symptoms do not attend the blood drive.
