Pets of the Week: 1-26-21

ALPENA, Mich.– Today’s pets of the week are Black Diamond, Toboggan, Bobsled, and Clove.

Let’s start with Black Diamond. She’s a four–year–old pit bull mix with a lot of energy. She gets along well with kids, but not as much with other dogs. Black Diamond is looking for a family that can keep up with her energy and help her burn off some of her excess weight.

Next we have Toboggan. This boy is ten years old and incredibly chill. Toboggan also has a very deep purr. He sounds like a tiny lawn mower starting up.

Now let’s say hello to Bobsled, but let’s say it quietly because he’s very shy. Bobsled is a two–year–old longhair mix who likes to keep to himself. He’s open to petting, but needs to be comfortable with you first. It took me quite a while to coax him out of his hidey hole.

Finally, let’s check in on Clove. This three–year–old lap cat is just as cuddly as last week. She’ll come right to your hand for a scratch behind the ear, and she’ll curl right up in your lap when she’s ready to nap.
