A Presque Isle County man had his life change over the weekend after winning over $200,000 on a single scratch ticket.
The lucky man who is in his eighties, chose to remain anonymous.
He purchased the $10 ticket at the Rogers city E-Z Mart located at 101 South Bradley highway in Rogers City.
The player visited lottery headquarters in Lansing on Monday to claim his prize, and said he has plans to save the windfall for a rainy day, but joked that he had wish he won when he was 20 years younger.
Although the man acknowledges that it is, “better late than never.”
According to the Michigan Lottery, players have won more than $39,000,000 playing the same ticket, which debuted in January 2015.
They also say that there are four $250,000 in circulation statewide.
