Ossineke woman arrested for embezzlement from a vulnerable adult

ALPENA COUNTY, Mich. — An Ossineke woman has been arrested for embezzlement from a vulnerable adult.  Thirty-three-year-old Natasha Lynn Kaercher was arrested at her residence on September 9, 2021.  The Michigan State Police (MSP) Alpena Post was contacted in July 2021 to investigate an embezzlement complaint made by the Public Conservator Office for Alpena County. The investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Kaercher from Ossineke on September 8, 2021. She was arrested at her residence and lodged in the Alpena County Jail.

Kaercher was arraigned today in the 88th District Court in Alpena on one count embezzlement from a vulnerable adult $1,000 < $20,000; one count larceny $1,000 < $20,000; and one count unlawful driving away of motor vehicle. Her bond was set at $25,000 10% cash surety.
