Mild with a Quick Brush of Mix and Rain This Weekend

Skies will be gradually clearing tonight as a rapid moving high pressure settles in for Saturday. Temperatures tonight will be comfortable in the mid 20s with highs topping in the mid to upper 30s. Fair skies will be in control during daylight but by nighttime, clouds and winds will be increasing with a wintry mix likely after midnight as another clipper system slides through the Sunrise Side.

The wintry mix will change over to rain by Sunday morning and eventually tapering off before noon. A powerful and slowly crawling high pressure plans to settle in for the early workweek bringing abundant sunshine and balmy temperatures. The 2nd half of the workweek is looking to be quite unsettling as multiple rounds of rain and snow showers invade Northeast Michigan. The main constant throughout the next 7 days will be the temperatures as highs max out on either side of 40° and lows in the 20s.
