Man faces felony charges stemming from domestic violence
HARRISVILLE, Mich. — 27–year–old Alexander Marshall Bidlake faces one count aggravated assault on a police officer causing injury. He also faces two counts of resisting and obstructing a police officer and one count domestic violence.
The charges are from an incident that occurred on January 11, when Alcona County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Mikado Township residence for possible domestic violence. Bidlake was subdued by deputies after he began fighting and resisting arrest. He was bound over to the 23rd circuit court after a preliminary exam in front of the Honorable Judge Laura A. Frawley.
According to the Alcona county sheriff’s office this incident is a disturbing trend that they’ve been observing.
