ALPENA, Mich.– A local boy scout is in the final stretch of becoming an Eagle Scout.
Life Scout Chase Stanley of Troop 78 assisted the Kiwanis Club of Alpena Saturday by organizing a painting project for the Bay View playground
It has been seven years since the playground was last painted.
The Alpena Home Depot donated the paint and brushes, and Stanley’s family was more than willing to help him work on painting the swing sets, merry–go–round, and benches.
This is actually Stanley’s second Eagle project, as his previous plan was postponed indefinitely by the arrival of COVID–19.
Stanley would be the third son in his family to make Eagle Scout.
