Light exhibit to open Friday night at Art in the Loft
ALPENA, Mich — If you missed Alpena’s last Art Walk or simply want to add some visual appeal to your weekend, you’ll have a chance at Art in the Loft.
The art gallery will open its Light exhibit this Friday evening. Creators of the over 90 submissions on display have used light to give to their work a unique look. Executive Director, Justin Christensen–Cooper, says this year, the gallery wanted to explore an idea, rather than a color.
The exhibit opens this Friday night. Guests will be welcomed with a reception and greetings from artists across the area, including juror and mural artist, Tony Hendrick.
Admission is free. The exhibit will run from October 4 through November 7.
