This will be the final lecture of 2018 for the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary’s lecture series.
Russ green will bring to life this 1900s ship that carried Christmas trees from the Upper Peninsula To Chicago.

“We’ve done Christmas tree ship programs with students, we’d go to the classrooms, usually third and fourth graders, sometimes, they’d come to the Heritage Center, and this year, we decided to focus on the adults as an audience and deliver a lecture about the ship, about the actual story, discerning myth from fact and also taking a look at why it has stayed alive in the story for so long

Catch the lecture tomorrow night at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and talk begins at 7:00 p.m.
