Humidity will remain low through the end of the week

High temperatures today reached 83 degrees in Alpena, 80 degrees in Cheboygan and 77 degrees in Ironwood. Winds out of the northwest will help bring slightly cooler temperatures into our area.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s with partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow’s highs will reach about 80 degrees in Alpena, 76 degrees in Onaway and 78 degrees in Oscoda. Wednesday will have a mix of sun and clouds and winds from the northwest around 10 mph.

Temperatures will become cooler Thursday, highs will be in the middle to upper 70s. Highs will reach the upper 70s Friday afternoon. Saturday, temperatures will warm to the lower/middle 80s. Then a cold front will move through our area Sunday and bring colder temperatures early next week.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Predawn temperatures will be in the upper 50s. In the late-morning, temperatures will rise to the lower 70s. Afternoon highs will be close to 80 degrees. Early-evening temperatures will be in the lower 70s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and a little cooler. Predawn temperatures will be in the middle 50s. Late-morning temperatures will get into the upper 60s. Afternoon highs will reach about 77 degrees. Early-evening temperatures will be in the lower 70s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Early-morning temperatures will start in the upper 50s. Late-morning temperatures will be close to 70 degrees. Afternoon highs will get up to 79 degrees. Early-evening temperatures will be in the lower 70s.
