Fifth generation Alpena resident running for circuit court judge
ALPENA, Mich. – A fifth-generation Alpena resident has announced his candidacy for judge of the 26th circuit court.
This morning, Attorney at Law, Joel Bauer declared his candidacy and said diligence to solving problems and issues the community is having will be his priority if elected.
Inspired by his father, one of the youngest prosecutors elected in Michigan, Joel said his father’s commitment to equality and a hard work ethic served as his inspiration.
Bauer has been an attorney for 16 years.
Being rooted in northeast Michigan and having diverse experiences as an attorney are things Bauer feels set him apart from his running mates.
With COVDI–19 disrupting many campaign efforts, Bauer says he will be doing virtual door knocking through social media.
